The luxury car rental platform CarHopper has raised a $1.5 million seed round to expand to new markets. Before the peer-to-peer platform CarHopper was launched the luxury of driving a Lamborghini, Ferrari or Rolls Royce was only available to the wealthy. Thanks to CarHopper you can get now a luxurious vehicle for $600/day. Even though it is still not the priciest option, the premium service is definitely worth its price for specific consumers.

“We work directly with the best luxury car suppliers in each city to provide customers with a more seamless experience.” – Bora Hamamcioglu, founder, and CEO at CarHopper

Users can select a luxury vehicle, confirm the reservation, and then submit the request. CarHopper facilitates the transactions for renters and the agencies on their luxury and ultra-high-end inventory, while the agency still takes care of things like insurance, customer service, and maintenance.

CarHopper was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Miami. The company currently operates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas, with plans to launch in New York, The Hamptons and Orlando.
