This year’s World Forum for Democracy is starting tomorrow and so it is time for you to meet the new team of bloggers! Meet Chloë, Moses, Suzanne and Suzanne (yes, there are two). We believe that it is important for people of all ages to be involved in democracy. As representatives of the next generation we want to actively engage young people. That is why we love this year’s theme that connects democracy with education (also see Chloë’s post about why education needs democracy).
Who are we?
We are a group of bloggers from different backgrounds. Moses for example is interested in the link between education and self-development, while Suzanne is more into development and global equality. Chloë, on the other hand, is our creative brain and Suzanne is focused on personal stories and examples of practical democracy. Together we want to update you on the different insights and lessons from the World Forum for Democracy.
What can we do for you?
We will report live from the incubator prior to the start of the conference. For this you can follow us on Twitter and Instagram. For us, democracy is all about participation. Let your voice be heard! So if you have any questions or you would like to debate further on a topic, speak up! You can reply in the comment section or use the hashtag #Society30
See you at the World Forum for Democracy!
