The UN just released the World Happiness Report 2018.

The World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of the state of global happiness, which ranks 156 countries by their happiness levels, and 117 countries by the happiness of their immigrants. The main focus of this yearโ€™s report, in addition to its usual ranking of the levels and changes in happiness around the world, is on migration within and between countries.

Nordic countries had high scores when it came to income, healthy life expectancy, social support, freedom, trust, and generosity.

Below you can already have a sneak peek at the ranking of the happiest countries:

  1. Finland ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ
  2. Norway ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด
  3. Denmark ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ
  4. Iceland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  5. Switzerland ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ
  6. The Netherlands ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ
  7. Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
  8. New Zealand ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ
  9. Sweden ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช
  10. Australia ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

The most striking finding of the whole report is that a ranking of countries according to the happiness of their immigrant populations is almost exactly the same as for the rest of the population.
